Burke Ingraffia 19 March 2010 Television No Comment

Without a doubt, EWTN has been the most important Catholic television channel of the 20th and 21st Centuries, if not the most important media ministry of our generation.  Started out of an Alabama garage by Mother Angelica in 1981, EWTN (Eternal Word Television Network) now has a state-of-the-art production studio and creates at least 80% of its own programming, reaching millions of homes all over the world in both English and Spanish.  EWTN also syndicates radio programming that can be heard on affiliate Catholic radio stations all over the world.

It has been predicted that TV and the World Wide Web will merge into some sort of infotainment hybrid, at which point EWTN and other Catholic television programmers will need to keep pace with other programming in both content and form.  There will be an even greater need for Web developers who are true to the mission of the Church and Her teachings.

For more information and a complete list of programming, please visit the EWTN website.
